The new committeeman is a dairy farmer and located in the East Garland area. Mr. Atkinson succeeds Mr. Wilcox of Fielding whose term expired this year, Each agricultural county in the country has a similar committee of three members who are responsible for determining loan applicants eligibility, certifying the value of farms being purchased or improved through Farmers Home Administration loans, and making recommenda tions on loan approvals and loan servicing actions. Each County Committeeman is named for a three year term and one appointment expires each year. A member completing his third year term cannot succeed himself. Mr. Frederick backed his truck away from the cafe into a parked truck belonging to Thomas Cunel, Brownsville, Texas. Damage was estimated at $35. Mr. Frederick left before Trooper Wm. Sackett arrived, but returned a short time later to receive the citation. A second truck driver, Kenneth W. Nebeker, Willard, driving a truck owned by California Packing Co., dozed at the wheel, as he rounded a corner two miles west of Tremonton. His machine, clipped off a guard post, went into a ditch and turned over on its side. Damage to the truck was estimated at $300.
