Has Birthday Party Mrs. Oleen Nelson was hostess to a lovely party Sunday after noon at her home in honor of her daughter Mitzi's sixth birth day. Games were enjoyed and delicious refreshments served to a large group of little friends. Mitzi received many nice gifts and each guest received lovely favors. Mr. and Mrs. Reese Ward and family of Logan were guests of Mrs. Ward's mother, Mrs. Pearl Jensen, Sunday. Mrs. Paul (Lucille) Miles of Denver. Colo., is a house guest of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Jensen. The ladies are sisters. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Iverson were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Christensen at their home in Brigham City. LaWana Jensen is attending Utah Agricultural College at Logan, this semester. Mr. and Mrs. Thamos Wad doups were hosts at a lovely dinner party at their home, Fri day evening. Dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Bywater, Sunday were their children, Max and wife and son of Tre monton, S Milton and wife of East Garland and Marvin and wife and two children of Brig-haCity. Primary Sets Conference Ward Primary conference is being held Sunday evening. The officers and teachers urge the children to make a special effort to be there. Mrs. Leon (Mabel) Strong entertained Wednesday afternoon in honor of her mother, Mrs. Mary Holmgren. A hot dinner was served fo Mrs. Emma Jensen, Olive J. Reese, Hilda Iverson, La Vela Matteson, Annie M. Anderson, Leona Reese, Brigham City, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Jensen and Mr. and Mrs. James P. Jensen. The afternoon was spent in visiting. Relief Society Social Held The annual Relief Society social was held Saturday night in the ward hall. Most of the married people in the ward were present and enjoyed a delicious hot buffet dinner, after which a very splendid program was enjoyed. We appreciate very much your continued work officers, and the extra work such wonderful socials cause you. Thank you. Mr. and Mrs. Mearl Marsh and family of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Marsh of Willard visited at the Wm. Bow- cutt home, Sunday. Wm. Bow-cuis still ill we are sorry to report. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Richards, and Alf Capener accompanied by all of his children, Mrs. Peg Coombs, Mrs. Lillian Tingey, Russell Capener and Howard Capener attended the funeral Saturday of George Earl, an uncle in Centerville. Mrs. Esther Jensen and Mrs. Edna Ward were in Logan, Monday. Primary and M.I.A Have New Officers Ward conference was held Sunday in our ward. Pres. C. J. Wood and Leonard Bishop of the High Council were stake visitors. The Primary was reorganized. Madge Udy, Grace Allen and Inez Johnson were released and Grace Allen and Inez Johnson were newly sus- tained officers. The M.I.A. was also reorganized. Delose Udy, Elvis Johnson and Max Ward were released. Elvis Johnson, Max Ward, Grant Hirschi and Marvin Burnett were sustained as new officers. Mrs. Donna Ward, Mavis Johnson, and La Nette Udy were released and Doris Roche, Joyce Cornwall, Clarice Hirschi and Nadene Richards were sustained as the Y.W.M.I.A. officers. Diane Bourne spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Bourne. Mr. and Mrs. Ford Richards and family of Salt Lake City visited the parents of Mr. Richards, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Richards, Sunday.
