RIVERSIDE By Myrle Cdy WAYNE HALES VISIT FROM CALIFORNIA Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Hales and family of Pomona, Calif., arrived Sunday for a vacation at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hales, parents of Wayne. The ladies of the ward quilted Wednesday at the home of Cleo Forsberg and again Friday at the Ed Udy home. They helped do some last minute Trousseau stitches as well as the quiltbride-to-bMarlene ing, for Forsberg. Thursday, Mina Ward visited m Ogden with her daughter, Mrs. Rayola Walker. e, Jack Reveal and a few days visited of Calif., boys with Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Fathers Honored The Fathers of the ward were honored in Sunday School by having roses pinned on them. The 22 minute talks were in in honor of "Pattm. ... tu t'Ui "VIA! wivj. Capener was given a special recognition by a white rose, as the eldest man and also the man with the longest Sunday School attendance record. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hollist of Farmington spent Saturday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Leland Bourne. Diane Bourne spent Sunday and Monday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Bourne. Mrs. Bourne accompanied Diane back to Kaysville Monday afternoon where she will visit until Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Austin Udy had their family home Sundav in nonor pt their father. Honors Fathers The Junior Sunday School gave a very interesting program Sunday morning honoring their fathers. A program under the direction of Jane Udy, Eithel Estep and Effie Estep was given Sunday evening honoring all fathers of the ward. Kent Wolverton of Ogden is spending a few days with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Lamb. Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Lamb returned during the week from a trip back to Detroit, Mich., where they got a new car, then visited many points of interest on their return. Family Reunion All members of the Thomas Nish family were met at the Rees Park in Brigham City Saturday the 26th to enjoy a reun- Cpl.
