LARRY YORK INJURED IN ACCIDENT Larry York was treated at the Valley hospital early Wednesday morning for cuts, bruises, and shock, w hich he suffered in an accident just north of Corinne. His car struck the rear end of a truck and trailer which was parked alongside the road, and overturned in a borrow pit. York told investigating officers he must have dozed at the wheel. The car was almost demolished. Del Fuhriman Honored At National Meet D. A. Fuhriman, prominent flying farmer of Tremonton was signally honored last week while attending the National Agricultural Aviation conference at Memphis, Tennessee. He was appointed fieldman for the national organization. His duties in this capacity will take him to all parts of America and to foreign lands. Parley completed a business deal Wednesday with the County Farm Service, in which he purchased the business interests of Leon Kerr and Reed Harris. He will assume xianagement of the Ford tractor and Dearborn implement business Mon day. NEW TRUCKS ANNOUNCED ' " Relatives in Tremonton were notified Wednesday afternoon of the death of 2nd Lt. Val Gene Done, who was killed instantly in an accident at Randolph Field, Texas, where he was serving as a flight instructor. Lt. Bone was born Sept. 27, 1925 in Garland. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Bone of Tremonton. He graduated from Bear River high school, and served in World War n, where he was a bombardier, making more than thirty flights over Germany. He graduated from the USAC in 1939, and returned to his work with the aircorps. He had notilied his folks, that he expected his papers within a few days advancing him to the rank of 1st Lieutenant. Mr. and Mrs. Bone, parents of Val Gene had left Tremonton a short while before the telegram bringing the information of his death arrived. They left for a vacation trip to California and Mexico with Mr. and Mrs. Leland Capener of Garland. Prof. Lee Kay of the Educa tional department of the Fish and Game department gave a lecture and presented several films on the wild life, both flora and fauna of Utah. It was well received by both young and old.
