The program will begin at 7:30 p.m. under the direction of Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Hansen. The Primary organization is conducting its drive for pennies for the Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, this week. It is hoped there will be a generous response for this worthy cause. Mrs. Howard Johnson, Preston, Ida., visited for a couple of days this week at the Clarence Perry home. Mr. Johnson, drove down for her at the end of the week. They came especially for the birthday of their granddaughter, Kathy Perry. Mr. and Mrs. Jay D. Norr and children drove to Brigham City, Sunday, to see Mr. and Mrs. James Dixon and their family. The Dixons have just returned from Arizona where they visited the Alvin Noors. Pvt. Neil Lish called home Saturday night, to wish his Dad "Happy Birthday". Neil is on training maneuver in Ft. Ord, Calif. Buss was so happy to hear from Neil he didn't even mind being a year older. Nice to visit with Mrs. Horace Barnard. She says she can tend to light housework and enjoys being able to get around the house. Sunday, she and Hod drove over to Elwood to visit Mary and Palmer Mann. Mr. and Mrs. O. W. Snow spent several days last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Thackeray in Croyden. They helped Mrs. Thackeray celebrate her birthday while there. Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Fryer and children, Clearfield, visited the John Fryer and Wayne Fryer homes, Sunday. Attend Convention Mrs. Myrl Perry attended a three day convention of the Cancer Society at Hotel Utah in Salt Lake City, this week. Mr. and Mrs. Monroe Peterson, Brigham City, visited day with Mr. and Mrs. J. A. The Sweetheart Ball was held Monday night. The hall was beautifully decorated and showed many hours of hard work. The floor show was well accepted. Everyone in attendance seemed to have a good time in spite of trying to keep pretty slippers and dresses out of the mud. Mia Maids and Explorers re Board was honored also. Visiting with Pearl Perry during the week were Mrs. Virginia Peterson and Mrs. Janet Fredericks and son, Mr. and Mrs, Alton Perry and family, Ggden, also visited Mrs. Perry, Sunday evening. Come From Georgia Mr. and Mrs. Dale Quinlan Pet-ersbor- o. and Michael arrived at the O. Snow home, last week, from Columbus, Ga. Dale has completed his military service and they will live in Brigham City. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Haycock drove to Salt Lake City, Thursday, to visit Mr. Haycock's sister, Mrs. James Davis. Mrs. Davis came from California. They were at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Finlay Brown for the day. See those big smiles Hod and Ethel Gardner are wearing these days? Their son, Jay, who has been in the Army in Alaska, THE LEADER, Tremonton. Utah will be released and home the first of March. W. Thursday. February Jack Germer and Bonnie drove to Ogden last week, to visit at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Clark Baron and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Price and their families. The ladies are sisters. Mr. and Mrs. David Olague, Ramona and Rosina, came from Gooding, Ida., Friday and were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lou Spackman. Mr. Olague is slowly recovering from serious injury and a break in his right arm.
