On July 20. 1896, he was married to Nellie C. Anderson of Bear River City. They became the parents of 14 children 13 of whom are living. Mrs. Anderson died March 9, 1938, and on May 25, 1942, he was married to May Nielsen of Vernal. Mr. Anderson is an active member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and Is a High Priest. Twenty F F A and 10 bays and girls from Box Elder county were each assigned 10 lambs last May, and fed them during the summer, especially for the exhibit. The experiment successfully proved that lambs can be fed during the summer with profit, according to show officials. 4-- H 4-- H "You'll see plenty of county talent in action," said Mr. Henrie, "in a wild west show that is being added as a feature of the fair each afternoon at 2:00 p.m." Appropriate prizes will be awarded in all events, and only county residents are eligible. Working with Mr. Henrie are Alvin Norr, M. P. Christensen and secretary Maurice Staples. Tentative plans include saddle and bronc riding, kids pony races, calf roping, ladies' events, stake races, barrel races, potato races, wild cow milking and chariot racing. Will Barnard and his trick horse will also be a special attraction at the show, slated for Sept. 1st and 2nd. All entries close at 10 a.m. Sept 1st. "Present facilities have proven inadequate for the town's growth, and the new location will give us more than fifty percent more room," said Mr. Walton. The Post Office will occupy the south half of a 50x80 foot building, to be constructed on South Tremonton Street, about a half block south of the Bear River State Bank, according to Mr. Stohl, and contractor Leo Oyler. The Post Office Department announced plans to increase the number of boxes available, and more space will be available for both the lobby, and in the workroom. New electrical cancelling machines are only part of the improvements planned for the Post Office service. The loading dock will be in the rear of the building, and a canopy will protect the mall in bad weather.
