YOUNG MARRIEDS HOLD SOCIAL Young marrieds of Bothwell met Wednesday evening at the church house for a social. with his poster; Diane Checketts, 6th, bottom; Steven Kearl, 5th, left poster, and Cajnille Fronk, 5th, right. North Park will hold its carnival Friday at 6 p.m., with serving of barbecue, drinks, pie and ice cream. FIELDING SCHOOL The annual Halloween Carnival for all students who attend the Elementary School at Fielding, along with their parents and friends will be held at the school building on Friday, Oct. 29th at 7:30 p.m. It is sponsored by the P.T.A. with Mr. and Mrs. Thayne Jones as presidents. The Carnival is under of Mrs. Paul the direction Forsberg. It will include all sorts of Halloween games and for the chilcartoon movies dren. GARLAND SCHOOL The annual Halloween Carnival at the Garland School is announced for Friday evening at 7 p.m. Food will be sold beginning at 7 p.m. including barbecues, drinks, burgers, homemade pop corn balls and candy. Mrs. Daryl Jeppesen is President of the PTA, who are sponsoring the event. Halloween games including a fortune teller will be offered, and door prizes will be given. The person who identifies the Mystery Guest will also receive a prize. The kindergarten children will give the program. A final reminder to all chil dren and parents that the School Carnival is scheduled for Friday evening, October 29th. There will be plenty to eat for everyone with barbecues, drinks, pie and ice cream all going on sale at 6 p.m. and the games starting at 6:30 p.m. y Twenty-on- e young marrieds enjoyed playing games and eating Tacos. The next meeting will be held on Nov. 3rd at the Leon Payne home and the lesson will .be given by DeAnna Firth. Mrs. LaMont Pugmire and girls, Sonya and Jane and son. Rex, of St. Charles, Ida., visited Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Dean Firth. Another daughter Paul of Mrs. Pugmire, Mrs. Stock and two little daughters of Salt Lake City were also guests of the Firths. Teachers in Service meeting and officers for all Primary teachers will be held Wednesday beginning at 2:00 p.m. The lesson will be given by LaPriel Schumann. All teachers of the Primary are urged to be in at- tendance. Mrs. John Laws joined a group of ladies from Tremonton for a trip to Salt Lake attended They City Friday. "Damn Yankees" at the Valley Music Hall in North Salt Lake. Shorthand Class To Be Taught An adult course in Beginning Shorthand is being planned to lie taught by Farrel Williams. The first class will be held Monday evening at 7 p.m. in Room 3B. Bear River Senior IliSh School.
