A 1960 graduate of the Bear River High School, he also attended Utah State University. Admission to the Signal School is limited to men of outstanding promise. Classed as a technical institute, the school gives training chiefly in the operation, maintenance, and repair of forty different types of electronic equipment, from radio and television sets to "electronic brains."
