She had been a Relief Society OBITUARIES VERL N. UDY A freak accident claimed the life of a former valley man, Verl N. Udy, 40, Friday in a trailer and automobile accident north of Hill Field. Mr. Udy was driving a station wagon with three other occupants returning home from work at Hill Field, when a tank trailer broke loose from a tractor rig with the and collided head-o- n station wagon. All three occu-pinwe'e injured. Mr. Udy was born Dec. 7, 1924 in Plymouth, a son of Mel-vi- n A. and Phoebe Nish Udy. He married Elizabeth Kent Feb. 14, 1948 in Pocatello, Ida. He had served in the U. S. Navy during World War II, and at the time of his death was employed as an electrician at HAFB. He was a member of the Terrace Seventh Ward in ts Ogden. Surviving daughters, are his widow, four Verlene, Delpha, Joann, Lori Kaye all of Washington Terrace; his parents of West Fielding and the following brothers and sisters, Mel vin L., Roy; John, Ogden; Carl L., Mrs. Sam Elma Mazzola, and Mrs. Roger Los Angeles. Bost, of all Funeral services were conat ducted Monday afternoon and Sons Colonial Lindquist Chapel in Ogden. Burial was in the Plymouth Cemetery. Farmington, Floyd Burnett, Salinas, Calif.; and Ernest, Moses Lake Wash.; also 24 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, one brother and one sister, Evan Stuart, Malad; and Mrs. Zina Robetialle, Seattle, Wash. Mul-line- r, former resident of Garland died in Kaiser Hospital in San Jose. Calif.. Sunday after an illness. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday (today) at 1 p.m. in Rogers Funeral Chapel in Tremonton. Burial will be in Logan City Cemetery. Mr. Mulliner was born Feb. 27, 1904 in Lincoln, Ida., a son of Hyrum and Margaret Adams Mulliner. He was an employee of Utah-IdahSugar Company and had worked at Garland, Idaho Falls, Bellingham, Wash.; Bell Fouche, So. Dak.; and Spanish Fork. The family had lived in Agnew, Calif., for the past six years. He married Winona Gaddie Nov. 14, 1924. He is survived by his widow, three sons, Eugene.
