WIDE The Stagecoach Camp of the Daughters of the Pioneers held their first meeting of the season Thursday at the home of Mrs. Dora Shaffer. The lesson, "Events of 1876" was given by Ruth Holman. Voylet Grover read a life sketch of her husband's grandmother which was Thomas Grover's third wife. Delicious dessert refreshments were served by the hostess. Mr. and Mrs. Mel Kupfer and family, Tremonton and the Stacey Oyler family of Bear River City and the Merlyn Kings were at the Howard Oyler home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Oyler accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Gale Welling to Pima, Arizona to visit the Welling's daughter, Debby, and her friend, Sandra Nielson, who are teaching school in Pima. Jack Oyler and his son came up from Ogden Saturday evening, to visit Mr. and Mrs. Oyler. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Johnson and Roger of Bountiful, Mrs. Guy Harris of Bothwell and Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Shaffer came to the Leah Oyler home to honor her on her birthday anniversary which was Monday. On the last weekend Mrs. Oyler, with other relatives, spent the long weekend at Junior's cabin on the Cub River. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Marriott and family were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Marriott. Sherilyn Jackson and her brother, Terry, came in from Vernal to spend the weekend with their Last Sunday Mrs. Hannah Davis had as guests, a brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Williams of Malad, Mrs. Davis accompanied them to Salt Lake where they visited their sister, Mrs. Margret Fry, recently out of the hospital. On Saturday Mr. Fred Davis of Preston came to see Hannah Saturday. Mrs. Davis accompanied her daughter, Ruby Simms, and her family to Sweetwater on Bear Lake on Labor Day. On Friday, Mrs. Eph Peterson had a visit from a nephew and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dee Fielding of Layton.
