Bill Jacobsen, Don Shakespear and Ron Meyers are the three new additions to the local high school faculty. Bill Jacobsen, a San Diego, California, native, last week got his first taste of victory after coaching the Bears on to their first win of the season. As you might guess, he is the new head football coach at the school. He is also teaching history. Jacobsen, formerly the assistant football coach at Springville High, gained his degree at Brigham Young University. He is married to Anne Brimhall of Provo and they have two girls, Jody and PARKE DAVIS PARXE DAVIS VDrailN Andrea. Don Shakespear, originally from Tropic, Utah (near Bryce Canyon), is filling the ranks as a Spanish and English teacher. He gained experience in this area by teaching French and Spanish at Roy High School for two years and Spanish at Box Elder High School for six years. He is a 1968 graduate of Utah State University and a present resident of Bear River City. He is also a husband and father to five children. He is teaching a new course at the high school known as Study Skills.
