Pi'ph Richards went to Salt Lake City Sunday then on to St. Oeorge, where he will visit for about two weeks. The Junior Birthday Club met Thursday night to honor Cleo Forberg at her home on her birthday. Twelve members and two guests were present. In New home Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Tingey and Fern Huish spent Sunday afternoon visiting Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Tingey in their new home in Plain City. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Bourne attended the wedding reception for June Sears and Gordon - te Observe Birthday Mr. and Mrs. Russel Capener joined Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Tingey, Ccnterville, during the week to crl brate all four birthdays which are within one month, and went to to Salt Lake City to dinner and a show. The Capeners spent the night in Centerville. Mrs. Amanda Bowcutt went to Kellogg Ida., Saturday where she will visit for some time with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Berquist. Mrs. Berquist is her daughter. Mr. and Mrs. John Allen and family, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Udy and family accompanied by Gloria Burnett, and Mr. and Mrs. Grant Hirschi and sons, were pine nutting Sunday. Mrs. Ron Hales and Deanna spent two days last week with Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Richins and children in Pleasant View. Bishop and Mrs. Ron Hales and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Nishi-gucattended the R.C.A. sales convention in Salt Lake City Wednesday. They enjoyed a lovely dinner and a special show on the latest developments in color television. Visit In Idaho Mrs. Helen Capener, accomNina panied by J. A. Thelma Stenquist and her father, Eric Stenquist, were in church Sunday speakers night. Miss Stenquist reported experiences while she was in the mssion field. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Udy went to Salt Lake City Sunday to visit Mrs. Udy's sister, Mrs. Lynn Walters, who is receiving medical attention at the St. Marks Hospital. DEWEYVILLE By Mrs. Wayne Fryer Reaches 80th Year Chris Hansen was guest of honor last weekend as the members of the Hansen family gathered to help him celebrate his 80th birthday. Many of the family members were here for the weekend, staying at the Ernie Hansen home, as well as the Chris Hansen home. Sunday, a family dinner was cooked and served by Mrs. Ernie Hansen and Mrs. Warren Haycock. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hansen, Wendell, Ida., Mr. and Mrs. Bill Liese and family, American Falls, Mrs. Bob Bates and family, Karen Eames, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Newsome.and Mrs. Edria Hansen, all of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Ken Germer, Tremonton. "Uncle Chris" who still leads quite an active life, was presented a lounge chair by his family.
