German Youth Seeks "Pen-Pal- " After Contact with Missionary The Leader has received the following letter from a missionary contact of Paul Caperier, Riverside, now filling a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Sants in Germany. To the Editor of the Tremonton Valley Leader Tremonton, Utah, U. S. A. Sir, Please excuse if I trouble you with my affairs. I am a German boy of 26, who came here to Western Germany from the Russian Zone (Leipzig) only last year. Lately I met Mr. Capener, missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of- - Latter-da- y Saints, who told me about this church. I was very interested in all I heard from Mr. Capener and began reading a copy of the Book or Mormon I got from him. As I want to learn more about the .Mormons, I told Mr. Capener I should like to correspond with young members of his church. Mr. Capener was so kind to hand me your address. He told me you possibly would be able to help me finding a pen-pby publishing my letter or a short note about my re quest in your paper. , Really I should be very much obliged to you if you could do so as I guess thre is someone among your readers who would like to correspond with me and tell me how American Mormons are living, etc. If I'd hear from several people I could forward some addresses to friends in the Russian zone. Thank you beforehand for your kind endeavor. With kind regards to you and your readers.
