Thousands of young and old alike have enjoyed the fruits of the man hours of enjoyable sacrifice and hard work which a group of young men gave to make make their community a better place in which to live. The Jaycees had done it again. In the years to follow valley citizens were to see the growth of many more ideas, and the development of young men into community leaders all because a young man's organization named the Junior Chamber of Commerce had created the means by which an individual could express his ideas and then proceed to turn these ideas into a magnificent realism. The reward? To make a better community in which to live, and by so doing, develop future leaders of the community, state and nation; leaders with ambition, character, and a desire for a better tomorrow for all poser- ity. The Jaycee Creed We believe that faith in God gives meaning and purpose to human life. We 'believe that the brotherhood of man transcends the soverignty of nations. We believe that economic justice can best be won by free men through free enterprise. We believe that government should be of laws rather than of men. We believe that earth's great treasure lies in human personality. And We believe that service to humanity is the best work of life.
