The only Logan hit was by Jackie Laub, Logan first baseman, in the first inning and drove in the first Logan run. Uheir other run came as the result of a walk, a stolen base, a ground out and a wild pitch. Ronnie Hawes was the big gun offensively for the locals as he unloaded two doubles, while Jim Arnold, Bill Puzey and Darwin Harris each had one Hawes, Arnold and Puzey each had two (hits in the contest. The big inning for the locals was the fifth when they put together eight hits and two Logan errors to tally eight runs. Don Kirby led off the inning with a walk and went from first to third on Conger's sacrifice. Knudsen then lived on an error and Kirby scored from third. Hawes then belted a run scoring double and Arnold and Bragg put together two singles to account for another run.
