Show EAST GARLAND By Mrs. Eph Peterson Honored On Birthday On Saturday, Mrs. E. S. Han sen celebrated her 80th birthday anniversary and was pleasantly surprised by her brothers and sisters and her immediate family coming to spend the afternoon.-Thes- e were Mrs. J. S. Sheffield of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Agnes Stander and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Olsen and Miss Eavea, the exchange teacher from Britain who is staying with them, and Marinus Olsen all of Brigham City, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Julander of Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Hansen and family, Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Hansen and son. The family served refreshments. and to enter their son, Bert at the B.Y.U. at Provo. Mrs. Dorris Peterson took Mr. and Mrs. William Bowcutt of Riverside to Willard Sunday where they were dinner guests of Mr .and Mrs. Clyde Marsh. Mr. and Mrs. Christensen were in Salt Lake City Sunday for conference after which they visited old friends from California. Sherma Hansen and Randall Bennion of Cody, Wyo., spent the weekend at home with Miss Hansen's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Hansen. Attend Conference Mrs. Potter accompanied other Relief Society Board members to Salt Lake City Wednesday for conference and on Thursday. Wednesday evening they attended the Relief Society reception at the Layfayette Ball room at the Hotel Utah. Also in the group from our ward were Ruth Hansen, Merle Larson and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Adams Ruth'Holman. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Archiand children of Yuba City, Cal., bald and family of Ogden were are visiting relatives and friends for a week or two.
