June 23, 1955 Kiwanis Hear RIVERSIDE Report On South America By Myrle Udy Visitors From Edward Torres native of Argentina, who with his wife, Elaine, recently returned to Utah from that country addressed the Kiwanis Club last week. The two have completed missions for the LDS Church in that land, and were weekend guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Fronk. Mr. Torres gave a detailed report of conditions in South America, and the reason's behind the strife in Argentina. He reported that he expected a revolution to break out at any time in that country, and two days after his talk, news reached this country of the revolution against Juan Peron, and the government of Argentina.
