Mt States Implement Co. 44 0 bot1ol 3 14 Phone East Main 5191 David Allen Cannon, 85, died at 12:20 a.m. Wednesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ida Michaelis in Garland, after a six months illness. He was born Aug. 9, 1868 at Elkton, Ky.t a son of Tilman D. and Sarah Stokes Cannon. He was reared in Kentucky, and married Eliza Jane Harris there Dec. 16, 1890. They moved to Utah in 1901 and settled in Fielding. His wife died in April 1938 in Fielding. Mr. Cannon has lived in Garland for the past twelve years. Surviving are the following sons and daughters, Mrs. Michaelis, Mrs. Jess (Archa) Barker, Newton; Mrs. W. A. (Birdie) Fowers, Ogden; Allen Cannon, Bakersfield, Calif.; and Howell Lee Cannon, Salt Lake City; also 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 1 brother and 1 sister, Arthur Cannon and Nannie Cannon, both of Kentucky. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at p.m. in the Fielding ward chapel by Bishop Rosei Zundell. Friends $ may call at Rogers Mortuary Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the Fielding ward chapel Friday from 12 noon untl time for the service. i I ..... iki Shirley Cheal Adams of City died Sunday at home, following a long illness. She was active in the auxiliary organizations of the church in Deweyville, Tremonton and in Carey, Idaho, where the family moved in 1947. She was the first girl to a Golden Gleaner in the Bear River Stake, and was an A honor student while at Bear River high school. Survivors include her husband, seven children, Colen, Karl, Keith .H., Joseph Michael, Dale Ronald, Mary Jane, Rhoda Elaine; her parents, of Tremonton; 3 sisters, two brothers, Nola Heppler, Sglt Lake City; Mrs. J. M. (Annivor) Job, San Mateo, Cal.; Mrs. Floyd (Orpha) Stohl, Ashton. Idaho; Rosco Heppler, Chicago; and Max Ronald Heppler, Tremonton. . of Bishop Simpson Carey, Idaho conducted the funeral service, with Ann Freiss playing the organ prelude and postlude. Prayers were offered by James Walton and Bishop Irvin Garfield. Musical numbers included a vocal solo, "In The Garden", by Maxine B. Hansen; a selection by the Deweyville Ward Sextet, "Beyond The Sunset"; a vocal solo, "That Wonderful Mother of Mine", by Alan Pvrah; and a vocal solo, "We'll Meet Again, It Won't Be Long", Leon Gardner. Speakers were Bishop D. B. Green, Bishop Clarence Fryer, and President Valdo Benson.
