Show THE LEADER. Thursday. March 26, 1953 Friday evening. They were special guests at an American Legion Auxiliary banquet. Mrs. Amanda Tolman visited, in Logan and Hyde Park Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Wight and Paul and Mr. and Mrs. A. N. Wight of Tremonton visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. G. McMinn of Pocatello, Idaho Friday. Mr. and Mrs. La Von Johnson and family were Ogden visitors Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Schu-ma- n and Barbara of Townsend, Montana visited Tuesday with James Peterson. On Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Peterson, Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Zollinger and Clair and Bob Zollinger visited in Salt Lake City. Miss Peggy Ann Shellabarger of Roy was a weekend guest at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil McNeelel. Sunday dinner guesets at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin J. Wood were Mr. and Mrs. Milton Norman of Corinne and Verle Waldron of Thatcher. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil McNeeley and Peggy, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Wight and Paul were in Ogden Tuesday. While there they visited Earl Christensen at St. Benedict hospital and with Mrs. Leslie Anderson, Mrs. Ed Wright and Mrs. Ted Wright. Thatcher Maurine Wight Earl Christensen Improving Earl Christensen, who has been seriously ill for some time is reported to be somewhat improved. Mr. Christensen is in St Benedict's hospital in Ogden. and Mrs. Lula Didericksen Larene and James Peterson were Salt Lake City business visitors Wednesday. Thatcher is welcoming a new family: Mrs. Leora Lott and children of Ogden have purchased the Barlow home. They plan to make their home here. Friday Mrs. Ruth Zollinger of Thatcher and Mrs. Ora Thompson of Elwood visited Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Redford and Mrs. Paul Johnson of Logan, and Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Zollinger of Providence. Mrs. Alice Jensen of Thatcher and Mrs. Merilyn Barnes of Tremonton were Brigham Ctiy visitors Wednesday. On Friday Mr. and Mrs. Cecil McNeeley of Thatcher and Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wright of Ogden traveled to Randolph, Utah to visit relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Othello Adams and children, Linda and Joel, of Moreland, Idaho visited Satur- Family Holds Birthday day and Sunday with Mr. and Anniversary Mrs. D. Earle Adams. Mr. and Mrs. Dee Watt of Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Gibbs and son of Promontory, and Mr. and Mrs. Clair Anderson of Elwood. Bishop and Mrs. James Wight and family were Ogden visitors Sunday. They visited with Earl Christensen, who is ill and with Mr. and Mrs. Alec Boulton and family. Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Wood and family of Salt Lake City were Friday night guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Wood. Mrs. Andrew Anderson has been in Garland at the home of Mrs. Emma Archibald since Sunday evening assisting in the care of Mrs. Amelia Anderson. Miss Maxine Brown is spending several weeks with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Johnson. Maxine is from Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Zollinger spent Sunday visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Fonce Zollinger of Logan. On Monday the two couples spent a very enjoyable day in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. LeSlie Wight and Paul visited in Logan and with Bishop and Mrs. Clarence Anderson and family and Mrs. Raymond Keupfer and Sheril of Trenton Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Dorian Barlow and family of Ogden visited with James Peterson Sunday. Mrs. Francis McNeeley, Sally and Allen of Logan were weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil McNeeley. Mrs. Ora Lewis and family visited Mr. and Mrs. Duane Newman of Ogden Friday. Bishop and Mrs. James Wight and family visited with Bishop and Mrs. Clarence Anderson of Trenton Saturday. At the conclusion of the Elementary school basketball tournament Thursday enening, Cecil McNeeley, Lyman Zollinger and Leslie Wight and their partners entertained at Steed s Cafe honoring Thatcher school's basketball team which won the consolation spot in the tournament. Team members present were Harold Egley, Bob Zollinger, Larry McNeeley, David Wight, Clair Zollinger and Leo Peterson and their coach and teacher, Ferris Petersen. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin J. Wood visited with Mr. and Mrs. Ted Wood of Ogden Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Zollinger and Ersel Hunsaker were bus iness visitors in Sage valley this past week.
