Show I Thursday, March T H 19, 1953 ATTEND Fielding GUARD REUNION Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Earl, Mr. and Mrs. Claine Grover, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Wood and Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Wood spent the Florence Munso& Stake Players Entertained A party was held at the Seminary Monday evening in compliment to the Stake Drama Directors and the Casts who have been in the Stake M.I.A. plays during 1950, 1951 and 1953. The party was in. charge of Mr. and Mrs. Harmon Pierson of Garland. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Ashby have been the Stake Drama Directors and have very capably directed the last three plays which were "The Lucas Family", "Lena Rivers", and "Tempest and Sunshine". A k supper was enjoyed by about 27 people. The party also honored Carl Ashby, who leaves for the Service this week. The Booklore club met at the home of Mrs. Erma Garn Wednesday evening for their regular meeting. Secretary Mrs. Helen Mason presided. Mrs. Irene Peck was chairman of the program. Mirs. Leona Anderson of Bothwell reviewed the book, "Windows for the Crown Prince" by Elizabeth Gray Refreshments were served by the hostess to ten club members and the following guests Mrs. Tressa English, Mrs. Althea Wilcox, Mrs. Bonnie Garn and Mrs. Anderson. The next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Minta Garn. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Garn and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Burnett returned home last week from a trip to Moses Lake, Washington. Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Udy spent Thursday evening visiting with Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Udy at Ogden. pot-luc- Vin-in- g. ARTHRITIS? A meeting was held at the Newhouse hotel Friday evening and a banquet and dance was held Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Godfrey and children, Lana and Lester, and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Udy and children, Barbara and La Mar, attended a family dinner party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Theil Jensen at Millville Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Udy visited in Ogden last week, after which they were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Jones at Hooper. Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Suther-lunand son Glade spent Sunday visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Guy Saisbury and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Sutherlund at Pocatello. Norman Petersen and Gail Anger attended the State Bas ketball Tournament held al the University field house at Salt Lake City Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Mrs. Mattie Bourne returned home last week after having spent a few weeks visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Fisher at San Francisco. She was accompanied by her sister, Mrs. Clara Potter of Salt Lake City. They returned home by way of Los Angeles where they visited their sister, Mrs. Pearl Trumbell and their brother, Clifford Robinson. Dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Munson Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Hastings and son Danny of Roy and Tommy Greenwell of Og den. Tamra Welling had as her weekend guest Lila Lee Stark of Bothwell. Mr. and Mrs. Lemoine Hess and family of Ogden visited with Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Hess Satur day. Mrs. Leona Standing, accompanied by her daughter, Mrs Lila Miller and small daughter of Tremonton spent a couple of days visiting with relatives at Ogden last week. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Wilcox and son Seth visited with Eben Wil cox at the Dee hospital at Og den Sunday. Mr. Wilcox was recently in a car accident. They also visited with Mr. and Mrs. La Vern Wilcox.
