Show THE very delightful trip to Boise, Idaho. Bishop Leland Capener has been in Salt Lake City for the past week. Mrs. Capener went to Salt Lake City Friday to get him and they returned Sunday. Russell Capener and John Allen spent the weekend at home with their families from their work in Ogden. Lola Hales spent the weekend at home with her parents, Mr., a Riverside Myrl Vdj Soldier Returns to Camp left Ffc. Ferris Marfariane Sunday for a camp in the northwest where he will be stationed until he goes overseas. He spent two weeks here and in Fielding with his wife, Mrs. Arlene and son and other relatives. Udy, Thomas Udy, Austin Udy and Deloss Jensen attended the alfalfa school at U.S.A.C. Wednesday and Thursday. Mrs. Austin Udy accompanied Austin to Logan Thursday where she visited her mother, Mrs. Orson Bailey. . Mrs. Clarice Hirschi, accompanied by Mrs. Inez Johnson and Mrs. Florence Udy were in Logan Thursday.. Mrs. Karl Welling entertained at dinner in honor of the birthdays of her husband and Helen Capener. The guests were Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Nielsen, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Linford and Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Bowcutt of Gard land, and Bishop and Mrs. Capener of Riverside. The ladies of the Junior Pirthday club met at the home of Helen Capener Thursday evening for her birthday anniversary. Nineteen members and k guests enjoyed a delightful dinner and social conver; sation. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Richards returned during the week from Mac-farla- Le-lan- pot-luc- and Mrs. Ron Hales. She is attending nursing school. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Udy and family spent Sunday afternoon in Thatcher with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Adams. Miss Diane Bourne spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Bourne. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Geary and children of Salt Lake City visited Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Hadf ield. A Scout court of honor was held Sunday evening in sacrament meeting under the direction of Scoutmaster Russell Capener. Two Stake board visitors T. W. Potter and Thomas Simmons and Scoutmaster Bryce Erickson of Beaver gave talks and the local scouts gave ,the musical numbers. The Primary was represented by a few boys and girls in a skit to bring to the attention of the ward members "Penny Time" is here. Deweyville Grace Warnke A meeting was held Thursday evening at the school house, under the di rection of Mrs. Lewis Spackman and Keith Burnham. The nro gram was presented by Miss Hall's room. Singing, readings, and choral readings by the chil dren were enjoyed by a large group of parents. Several boys and girls presented accordian numbers. Business matters of the school formed the discussion period. Luncheon was served by Mrs. Lindon Barkle and Mrs. Thales Cannon. Gaye Peterson, student at Dee hospital school of Nursing at Ogden, came home to spend a few days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Peterson. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Heus-se- r were hosts Saturday evening at a dinner party. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Whcatley, Lewiston; Mr. and Mrs. Warren Haycock, Mr. and Mrs.. Mr. and Mrs. Horace Lish Jr. and family visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Burningham and other relatives at West Point. The Delos Adams family met at the family home to honor Erma Adams before leaving for the Mission field. In the evening they all attended her testimonial at the Second ward in Tremonton. Mrs. Harmon Peerson accompanied Mrs. Urstl Rhodes to Salt Lake City. She spent the day with Mrs. Leland Watt at Lay-to- n. Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Harker are happy over the safe arrival of a fine 8 pound girl born to them Monday at a Brigham Ctiy hospital. The couple have two children, a boy and girl. Mr. and Mrs. Alva Rhodes of Carey, Idaho and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Rhodes of Brigham City, had lunch with Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Rhodes Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Wood and family were Sunday guests at the Rhodes home. Mrs. Ross Rhodes underwent a major operation at theDee hospital in Ogden Friday. At this time she is improving. Mrs. L. R.
