Gloria Vee Johnsen, who has been visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Austin Johnsen for the past ten days, boarded a United Airline plane Tuesday for New York. Miss Johnsen has been employed in Los Angeles, California, but was recently trans-- f e r r e d to New York. Monday morning Mrs. Florence J. Gardner entertained at Breakfast for her. Other out of town guests were Mrs. Amanda Jensen and Mrs. Dorothy G. Jeppeson of Mantua. Gay Nell Johnsen returned heme, from Cleveland, Ohio, in few days visit time to have wit her sister before he departure' forne East. Gay Nell has been 'spending the summer at St Lukes Hospital in Cleveland as relief dietitian. Mr. and Mrs. Kline Strong and son Richard of Chicago have been visiting Mr. Strong's parents, Mr. and Mrs, Leon Strong. Mr. Strong recently graduated from Northwestern University and received his degree In Master of Business Administration. He received a scholarship to the University of Colorado at Boulder City, where he will take out his LI degree in Law. His wife is the former Sue Brintoh of Boulder. Her mother, Mrs. Wilder Brinton, has also been a guest at the Strong home. Tuesday evening Mrs. Austin Johnsen entertained at a lovely dinner party for her family. This is the first time they have all been home for three years. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Welch and daughter Carolyn Ann, of Para dise, Utah, were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Mortensen Sunday. Tuesday evening Mr. and Mrs, Alonzo J. Sorenson and Magnus and Henry Munsori of Hyrum were guests at the Elmer Mortensen home. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Robb and children of McGill, Nevada, returned to their home after visiting Mr. Robb's sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. LaVere Ander- i sen. Sharon Simpson c! Ogden visited her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Heber Hailing, recently, LaROn Johnsen and Ted Ram-sde- ll are at Logan practicing football with the Aggies, they will be on the main string of players when school opens. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Huggins and Joe Del, Mr. and Mrs. Emery Huggins and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Huggins and family attended the Naomi and Joseph S. Huggins family reunion at Logan Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Andersen are the proud parents of a baby , baby girL Mrs. John Cope is visiting her mother, Mrs. Albert E. Holmgren. Mrs. Legrande Petersen very ably review the book, "Autobi-- j ography of A. J. Cronin" Friday, when the Blue Star Mothers met at the home of Andrea Huggins. Mrs. Ivy Andersen, Mrs. Carrie Crlstensen and Mrs. Zina Hansen were the hostesses. Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Holmgren, Mrs. Mary J. Holmgren, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Holmgren enjoyed Sunday at Lagoon. Many from here attended the funeral services for Dr. Conrad Jenson, held at Ogden, Friday.
