He has been In the army for three and half years, and has been servk ing Ei the Seventh Division. He is to be stationed in California and will return there at the end of his furlough for the remainder of his time, which will be some time in the laM, for his release. He reports having enjoyed his sojourn in Germany and being very interested in the country. He says it 3s a most beautiful country with many wonderful things to see. Mrs. J. H. Ward is in Salt Lake for a short time taking care of Jut daughter, Mrs Burl Herman- sen and new grandson. There are two older boys awaiting the return of baby and mother from .. , the hospital. Mr. Phillips came up from Kaysville Sunday afternoon to take his family back. Mrs. Nina Dustin has been in town for the long weekend. She will return to Logan Sunday afternoon to be gone for the big gest part of the summer. Mr. and Mrs. George Hales of Washington are visiting their brother and family, Ron Hales. They met their daughter, Betty, who has been attending the BYTJ this past school year. Lola Hales and David Cape ner, who have been attending the BYU this past winter are home far the vacation period.
