She was accompanied to Ogden by her husband. Sgt Kent Sutherland, who is stationed at Camp Carson, Colorado spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Erwin W. Sutherland and family. Mrs. Lois Jensen Smith arrived home Friday evening to spend a couple of months with her parents, Mr, and Mrs. Andrew Jensen and family.' Mrs. Smith has been living at Junction City, Kansas for the past several months while her husband, Pfc. Joe Smith has been stationed at Fort Riley. Now Pfc. Smith has been transfered to Camp Hood, Texas. Mrs. Smith was met at Ogden by Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Jensen who accompanied her home. ,Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Munson spent Wednesday and Thursday at Ogden where they were overnight guests at the home of Mrs. Ben Francisco and family. They are happy to report that their sonln-laTSgt. Ben C. Francisco who has been stationed in Korea for the past eighteen months arrived home Thursday morning to spend a 30 day furlough with- his family. Friday guests at the home of Mr .and Mrs. F. W. Hess were Mr. and Mrs. Orren Evans and son, Don and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Samp of Ogden. , Mrs. Evelyn Keith left for her 'home at Wapato, Washington, Friday after having spent the past month with her mother, Mrs. James H. Hess. France Standing and a group of friends from Ogden and Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Miller and baby of Tremonton spent Sunday at the Leonard Standing home Mrs. Elmo Munson and son, Forrest and Mrs. Mark Woolley were in Logan Thursday afternoon. The Social Development Club met at the home of Mrs. Fred Coombs Thursday afternoon for their regular meeting. Mrs. Clifford Welling gave a history of the Star Spangles Banner and a short story entitled "Happy Land," by MeKinley Kantor. A piano solo was played by, Mrs. Marvin Ashby. Luncheon was served by the hostess assisted by Mrs. Emit Funk and Mrs. Virgil Coombs. The next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Leo Farnsworth on March 6. Sunday guests at the home of Mr And Mrs. A. W. Burns were their children, Mr. and Mrs. Hardy Chris tensen and family and Mr. and Mrs. Odell Burns and family of Bountiful Miss Beverly Owen entertained at a party at her home Saturday evening. The Book Lore Club met at the home of Mrs. Edith Welling Monday evening for their regular meeting. Club president, Mrs. Ina Udy presided. Mrs. Helen Severson reviewed "The Little Princesses' by Marion Crawford. Mrs. Eva Munson was a special guest. The' next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Millie Welling on March 12. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Tomilson of Farmington spent Monday visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Her man Potter and Mr. and Mrs. Steven Potter and families- - Mrs. George Manning returned "home with them.
