A lovely dinner was served to the guests of honor and their following children: Mr. Sid Farnsworth and family; Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Gardner and family, Brigham; Mr. and Mrs. Clifford McMurdie and family and Mr. and Mrs. A. Mr .and Mrs. Walter Sutherland and daughter, Sandra of Pocatello spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Sutherland and family. Mf s. E. C. Mason and daughter, Mae accompanied by Mrs. Rollin Thomas, Randolph and Mrs. Marge Richardson and daughter JoAnn, Garland attended a party, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Overmyer at Ogden Saturday evening. The party was in .compliment to Mr. Overmyer, Mrs. Mason's father, who was celebrating his 72nd birthday anniversary and also in compliment to Mrs. Reta Sharkey, a recent bride. Mrs. Elma Petersen and Mrs. Arlene MacFarland spent Tues. day at Brigham. Little Brent Baird spent a few days of last week with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William .Griffiths at Brigham. Mrs. Gene Cannon has been spending several days with her children, Mr. and Mrs. Thales Cannon and family at Dewey-vill- e caring for Mrs. Cannon who has just returned from the LDS Hospital at Logan where she spent two weeks receiving medical care. Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Munson spent Wednesday visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Dale Ogden at Logan. Mr. and Mrs. John Owen, Mrs. Wayne Secrist, Mrs. Wendell Welling and Mrs. Keith Moss accompanied by Mrs. Carl Johnson of Tremonton spent Friday at Ogden after which they enjoyed a dinner at Maddocks. Evan Rudd left Monday morning to report for duty at the same camp. Both boys have been here on a 30 day furlough after having s p e n t several months in Korea.
