The occasion was Mrs. Standing's birthday anniversary. She was presented with lovely gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Smith, who have been living near Fort Riley, Kansas, where Mr. Smith is with the Army, are arriving this week to spend the Christmas holidays with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Jensen and family. Mrs. Smith will be remembered as the former Miss Lois Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Welling have received word that their daughter, Maureen McClellan and three sons, have arrived safely at Topeka, Kansas, where her husband, Lt. Scott McClellan is station at the A.F.B., and where they' will make their home for the present. Mrs. Stan Hess and daughter Fayne, spent Tuesday at Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Suther land spent Tuesday at Ogden. Mrs. Elma Petersen visited for a couple of days with Mrs. Annie Christensen at Clarkston last week. . Mr. and Mrs. Donald Welling of Brigham City, spent Sunday with their' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Welling. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pulver and children, and Mrs. F. A. Smith, spent Tuesday at Logan. Mrs. J. D. Munson spent Sunday and Monday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Burt at Ogden. Sunday evening Mrs. Burt entertained in compliment to Mrs. Gertrude Hansen, of West Hollywood, California. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Eben Wilcox and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Frisby of Ogden. Dainty refreshments were served. Mrs. Sadie Johnson arrived home Saturday from Riverside, California, where she has spent several months with her child and Mrs. Elmer Coombs Mr. visited with Mr. and Mrs. A. V. Smoot at Corlnne. Mrs. FROM TREMONTON Richards and daughters, Marie and Pam, of Brigham City, spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Theo Richards and family. Mrs. Agnas Burnett was a Sunday dinner guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Burnett and family. Elder Glen W. Welling, of Fielding, arrived home Tuesday after having completed a two year L.D.S. Mission in England. After being released from his mission Glen visited many different places of interest, including Rome, Italy. On arriving in the States he spent several days in New York, and visiting other points of interest before returning home. Mr. and Mrs. James I. Bird J of Bluebell, announce the marriage of their daughter Rae, to Dale Allred, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Allred of Fielding. The 1 marriage took place at the Salt Lake Temple Friday. Rae will graduate from the Altamont high school at Bluebell this com- 1 ing spring. Dale is a graduate of B.R.HS, and also attended U.S.A.C. at Logan. He returned in the fall from a two year LJD.S. Mission to Germany. At present he is a teacher at the high school at Bluebell, where they will make their home. Mr. and Mrs. A. W.
