Games were played and lovely refreshments served. to twenty six guests. Miss Jen-pewho is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Jensen is; leaving Saturday for Kansas where her fiance, Pvt. Joe Smith, is stationed at Fort Riley. She plans to stay with ifriends until Monday when she will be married at Junction City, Kansas. Pvt. Smith is .the son of Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Smith of Richmond. The young couple will make their home at Junction City for the present. The Social Development Club held their closing meeting for the season at the Relief Society room at the Ward Chapel Thurs. afternoon with Mrs. Quy Rees as hostess. Mrs. Helen Severson reviewed "Family Kingdom" by Samuel Woolley Taylor. Mrs. Mabel Hansen and her daughter Saundra Mae played a piano duet, afterwhich Saundra Mae and Mary Ann Hansen played piano solos. Mary Ann also did some baton twirling. Lovely corsages were presented to the new officers who will assume their duties when the club meetings start in the fall. Those receiving corsages were Mrs. J. D. Munson, Mrs. M. J. Udy, Mrs. Edith Welling, Mrs. Leo Farnsworth and Mrs. Ruby Jones. Those presenting the corsages were the retiring officers, who were Mrs. Earl J. Holt, Mrs. E. C. Mason, Mrs. Dwight Hansen, Mrs. J. H. Smith s. Ralph Grover. Responses were made by the newly elected officers. A lovely was served by the luncheon hostess assisted by Mrs. C W. Bourne., Mrs. Andrew Jensen was a special guest. Weekend guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Leavitt were Mr. and Mrs. Leo McKin-no- n of Randolph. Smith- - have returned home after having spent ten days with their children Dr. and Mrs. Grant Gill Smith and' family at Pullman, Washington. They also visited at the Cooley Dam and with relatives at Spokane. Mrs. F. W. Hess accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Orren Evans and Mrs Clyde Settlemyre of Ogden and Mrs. Claudia Bur- nett of Los Angeles attended funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ann Richards held at Samaria on Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Rogers of California visited Pasadena, with their grandmother. Mrs. James H. Hess Friday evening. Joe Hess, Lex Udy and Clayton Earl are enjoying a fishing trip at Yellowstone Park this week. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Leavitt visited friends at Brigham Sunday.
