Florence Beard read the minutes of the firs meeting, and the original roll was called, showing four char ter members present. Mrs. Olena Homer was hon-- ! ored, being the oldest member present. She told some inter esting experiences, after which Agnes Earl read the history of Cecelia Mifflin. Howell and Carol Jane and Constance Homer, each played a piano polo and Karen Homer gave a 'reading. Election of officers was under the direction of Dora Brough of the county company, which resulted in the choosing of Mary Stenquist as Captain; Eva Hansen as 1st Lieutenant; Rosa Hunsaker as 2nd Lieutenant; Laverne Homer, secretary; Margaret B. Hansen, treasurer; Almeda Jones, chorister; Flo rence Beard, organist; Agnes Earl, historian; Elmira Heppler, registrar and Lucy Harris, chaplain. S- Temple, May 25. ; The couple received guests at a reception the same evening at the Rlverdale hall, where they stood before a setting of lighted tapers in seven branch canotetbra, tenA baskets of summer flowers. The bride's gown of nylon was styled with marquisette and was compleneckline, high mented by her fingertip veil of nylon which fell from a coronet of seed pearls. She carried a tmuquet of lily of the valley and - i Ted roses. . , In gowns of pastel shades accented by corsages of pink and white carnations were Miss Eeanor Call as maid of honor, Joanne Jenkins, Ann Rucker and Alice Price as bridesmaids. Dick Allen was best man for the groom. Mrs. Price chose for her daughter's wedding, a light ttue crepe gown, while the wore a bridegroom's mother white crepe gown. They wore pink rose corsages. Assisting at the reception Danna Child, Mrs. Mary Child, Mrs.. Sadie Johns, Mrs. Adelia Johonson, and the Misses Arlene Byrne, Zelma Snider, Sally Kellerstrass, Beverly Hurd, Glenda Kammeyer, Adele Bingham, Carolyn Cran-e- r, and Claudette Johnson, the program Neil During Bingham acted as master of ceremonies and presented Judy Hosier in a tap dance, Howard Ellis and Rose Thompson in vocal solos. Prior to her wedding the bride was entertained by Mrs. Bene Gam and Miss Eleanor OaU. Following a honeymoon trip to Colorado the couple will reside in Tremonton. A honeymoon trip included visits to Yellowstone Park and Jn Southern Utah. The couple are now making their home in Logan. LARRY R. YORK TAKES OGDEN MISS AS BRIDE Mr. and Mrs. Ray York of East Tremonton entertained Sunday at their home honoring their son Larry R. York and his bride of two weeks.
