Then a man came along and. put me in a sack with some other cottonseed and off we went to be planted. After going on the back of a haywagon on the bumpiets road I'd ever been on, the wagon gave a jolt and1 stopped. The next thing I knew I was bouncing along in a can or something that was filled to the top, but now I was sliding quite fast through a little funnel leading to the ground, into which I went tumbling. Then something came along and covered me over. After a while I started growing, and a cultivator came and took out all the; weeds and that happened quite a few times after that, until I was real big. One morning T had some beautiful blossoms on A couple of days later, me. my blossoms fell off and little buds or bolls were left. By bolls got bigger and bigger until they burst open and there were little bolls of soft white stuffl which is called "cotton" all over me. Then a machine came along that sucked the cotton bolls into it. My cotton was taken to a gin where it was separated from the seeds. A poems about spring.
