HOLD JUGULAR MEETING The Woman's Christian Temperance Union held their regular meeting Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Rudy Hupp with Mrs. S. E. Bjorn as assistant hostess. Devotions were conducted by Mrs. W. A. Adams. Mrs. Hadley presented an Interesting program with Mayor Xleon Kerr as guest speaker. FRIENDSHIP PARTY FOR SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS Miss Dorothy Bragg of Gar- her Sunday School Class of the Methodist Church at a friendship party land entertained Thursday with each member bringing a friend. The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in a tour of the southern Utah Parks. The bride is a graduate of Bear River high school, and has been employed at the Valley hospital. The groom is also a graduate of Bear River high school, and served with the U. S. Navy during World War II. He also filled a mission In Denmark. The couple are making their home in Tremonton. Miss Elaine John andMr. Theo Andersen exchanged wedding vows in a beautiful temple ceremony, performed at the Logan Temple on February 16 In the presence of members of both the families and and friends of the couple. President EIRay Christiansen officiated at the ceremony. The new Mrs. Andersen is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Clifford John. The groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Emil L. Andersen. Friends greeted the couple the same evening at a reception held In the Tremonton second ward hall. The bride was lovely in a gown of white slipper satin, fashioned with a deep pointed yoke, edged with a bias satin band underlayed with la:e.
