Utah DEAD RIVER CITY Andrea Hugglna Daughters of Utah Pioneers held their monthly meeting at the home of Mrs. Mae Andersen, Leola Perry gave the lessonLunch was served to 23 members by Bernice Hall, Mary E. Andersen, Ada Stander and Mae Andersen. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Stander entertained their club at the home of the Clifford Jensens Friday evening. A delicious turkey dinner was served at small tables. Cards were played with prizes going to Mrs. Melvin Johnsen, Jack Hardy, Chester Stander, and Mrs. Clifford Jensen. Mr. and Mrts. Blaine Andersen, and Mr. and Mrs. Grant Checketts were hosts to their club Thursday evening. An old time sleigh riding party was enjoyed by the group, after which were refreshments delicious served, and Bingo played. Mr. and Mrs. Merle Jensen visited In Salt Lake Saturday with the Vear Jensens. Parent Teacher meeting was held Thursday evening at the school house. Abel S. Rich, of the Box Elder high school gave a very Interesting talk. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Johnsen motored to Salt Lake Thursday. That evening, they enjoyed a reunion of former residents of Ephraim, held at the 29th ward. They were overnight guests of their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Vera Barrett. Friday, Mr. Johnson attended a cannery meeting in Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Johnsen and Mrs. Ronald Leonard were shopping in Salt Lake Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Don Fryer and children visited Mr. and Mrs. and Ferrel Hueeins Tuesday Mr. and Mrs. Ardell Andersen of Salt Lake were Sunday night and daughter Arva, were visitors Thursday.
