Show FIELDING By Florence Munson spending the past several weeks at the home of Mrs. Deakin's mother, Mrs. Effie Johnson. Weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Peck were Mr. and Mrs. Rollin Scho-weof Stone. Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Earl attended a party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lemuel Earl at Mendon Saturday evening. A lovely turkey and ham supper was enjoyed by twelve couples. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Farnsworth were overnight guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Whittle and family in Preston, Ida., last week. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Coombs and small daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John Coombs and son Ray, joined by Miss Faye Coombs, Ogden, met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Harris and family, Ogden, Saturday where they enjoyed a family dinner and in compliment to Faye and EIRoy Harris who were both observing their birthday anniversaries. Visiting with Mrs. Effie John son and family last week were Mrs. JoAnn Synder and son, Jerry, Billings, Mont Spending Sunday at Ogden were Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Earl and sons. Twenty-thre- e members and Mrs. H. Y. Richards of Salt Lake City as a special guest enjoyed a delicious luncheon. The next meeting will be held on January 23 at the home of Mrs. Bonnie Garn with Mrs. Nancy Leavitt as Visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Asael Godfrey and family at Ogden last week were Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Godfrey and children Lana and Lester. Houseguests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wood the past week were Dr. and Mrs. H. Y. Richards of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Willis Fryer were overnight guests at the home of Mrs. Fryer's sister and brother-in-laMr. and Mrs. Howard Petersen in Salt Lake City last week. Mrs. J. D. Munson accompanied by Mrs. Bevan Hales and baby of Tremonton, spent Friday at Ogden visiting with Mr. and Mrs. James Burt and family. Visit In Northwest Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Garn recently returned from an enjoyable vacation to the Northwest where they were houseguests at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Garn and family and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Nye annd family in Seattle, and with Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Burnett and family at Moses Lake. Due to the Relief Society room at the Ward Chapel being unavailable because of our recent fire around Christmas time, Mrs. Earl Holt generously offered her home where they held Relief Society last week. Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Munson left Sunday for Salt Lake City where they spent a couple of days visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Farnsworth and family. Tuesday, accompanied by the Farnsworths they left for California where they will visit with their children, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Munson and family at National City, with Mr. and Mrs. Lyn Hatton and family at Torrance and with Mrs. brother, Dr. T. E. Betensen and wife at Redondo Beach. Our sympathy goes out to the Herman Lott family in the passing of the oldest daughter, Mrs. Belva Skinner in Tremonton Thursday. This makes three grown sons and a daughter that Mr. Lott has had the sorrow of parting with in the last 5Vz years. Belva was a former member of Fielding and was well loved by all who knew her. Mr. and Mrs. Willis Fryer visited with Mr. and Mrs. Art Saunders in Logan last week. Serviceman Returns Ronald Stimpson, who is stationed with the U. S. Army in San Diego, has been spending a few days with his wife and family, Dayle, and sons, Woodie and Curtis, left for San Diego where they will remain for the present. Dayle and sons have spent the past several months at the Garn home. Dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Coombs Tuesday evening were Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Noble of Farming-ton- . They also visited at the John Coombs home. Visiting at the Earl Holt home Saturday were Mrs. Viola Stokes and Misses Sandra and Gaylene Whitney of Ogden. Dinn'-guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Anger and family Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jenkins and boys of Mun-son- 's r Qgden. Kent Sutherland. Ogden, spent Stinday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Sutherland and family. In the afternoon they all visited with Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Goodsell and family at Newton. Mr. and Mrs. Gale Welling and Mr. and Mrs. Theo Richards at enjoyed a dinner the Tropical Cafe in Brigham Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Ellwood H"ss have been visiting at the Percy Hess home in Ogden. Mrs. Percy Hess, who recently underwent a ser'ou operation, is reported to b imnroving nicely. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Jeppson and family left Monday for Ogden where they will make their home for the present. Attend Colorado Event Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Cornwall and Mr. and Mrs. Doug Roche are in Denver attending the Denver livestock show. They and left Thursday morning planned to return Tuesday.
