HARRISON If you happen to be pretty active with your camera during the winter months, here are a few tips on care and mainten ance which may possibly save you some grief. Your camera, like the family bus, takes kindly to winterizing. If you like to do g out of a lot of doors when Jack Frost is at his nippiest, winterizing (any first-rat- e camera shop will perform this service) will remove oil from the shutter which tends to thicken in cold weather and consequently slow the shutter. Don't take your camera from outdoors smack into a warm room because of the excessive condensation on the lens and inner workings. Leave it in a cooler spot in the house to warm gradually. When working outdoors, bear in mind that your camera should have some protection from the raw cold, but not ' so much warmth that foggy condensation results. You might also bear in mind that in photography there is no substitute for quality. C. HAR RISON'S, 27 West Main, stocks photographic supplies which are quality products designed to simplify and improve your shooting results. Look in on C. HARRISON'S soon and tell us your needs.
