He was born Aug. 11, 1884 in Bear River City a son of Ole and Annie Ipsen Miller. He was reared there and married Sine Nelson in 1911 in Brigham City The marriage was solemnized in the Logan Temple six years ago. He was an Elder in the Bear River ward, and served five years as a ward teacher. Surviviors include his widow and the following sons and dau ghters, Woodrow, Mrs. Violet Birch, Arva Miller, Bear River City; Mrs. Artell Brailsford and Mrs. Nola Burton, Tremonton; Mrs:- Sadie Hunsaker, H&rper Joyce Miller, Washington Ter race;- Lyle Miller, Alltambra Calif.; Leo Miller, Salt Lake City; and Lamont Miller Boun tiful. Also surviving are 21 grandchildren, three brothers: Chauncy Miller, Roy; Marlow Miller, Salt Lake City, and Marcus Miller, Nevada; two sisters: Mrs. Rachel Mantlo, Brigham City; and Mrs. Delpha Evans, Ogden. Bishop Vernon Johnson conducted the funeral service Wednesday afternoon. Wanda Johne son played the prelude and and Dwight Anderson gave the invocation. The first song was "Oh, My Father", by the ward choir. Other musical numbers included a vocal solo, "GohV Home" by Bonnie Rae Bigler, and the closing number, "Sometime We'll Understand", by the choir. Speakers were Charles Check-elta- , Leon Strong and Bishop Johnson. The benediction was given by Doyle Archibald. Burial was In the Bear River Cemetery by Rogers Mortuary. Dedication of the grave was by John C. Hunsaker. - - post-lud- Stockholders Sel Cash Union Meet Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ellen Jackson Robbins, 78, of Stone, Idaho will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Stone Ward chapel by Bishop Chauncey Funk. Friends may call at the fam ily home in Stone Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until time for the ser vice. Burial will be in the Snow-villCemetery. Mrs. Robbins died Tuesday at the family home after an illness of five years. She was bom Sept. 17, 1876 in England, a daughter of Char les E. and Catherine Byatt Jackson. She came to the United States in 1884 with her parents, who settled in Snowville. They later moved to Park Valley and when dhe was sixteen years of age to Salt Lake City. She married Hulbert Robbins Nov. 24, 1897 in the Salt Lake Temple. They have lived in Stone since their marriage. An active member of the LDS Church, Mrs. Robbins has ser ved as president and counselor MRS. DODD GREATLY IMPROVED Mrs. Lewis Dodd has recover ed from a recent serious operation, enough to leave the Logan (hospital, and is now with a daughter in Providence. She is reported to be doing very well.
