Show THE LEADER. EAST GARLAND by Mrs. Eph Peterson FORMER RESIDENT OF EAST GARLAND DIES IN SALMON, IDAHO ! Henry. Wilford, Sidney and Marion Sorensen, Mrs. Linda Somers of Logan and Mrs. Russell Rogers drove to Salmon, Idaho Thursday for the funeral service Friday for their brother, Ed Sorensen, who passed away of a heart ailment Mr. Sorensen came to East Garland with his family from Axtell, Utah. He married Margaret Walker of Syracuse about 1909. They made their home here for several years then moved to Leslie, Ida., about 1932. They moved back to Garland where they farmed for 3 St 4 years then mded back to Salmon, daho where he lived until his death. Mrs. Sorensen passed away 8 years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Hansen and family were in Syracuse Sunday. Mr. and M$. Frank Wood and Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Christensen attended the Farmer's Grain Crop banquet in Ogden Monday evening. Mrs. Wayne Gam, Mrs. J. P. Christensen and Dan Gam were in Ogden Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Eugene Hansen and son Chris of Logan spent two days of the weekend at the Warren Hansen home. To celebrate the Birthday anniversary of Mrs. Eugene Hansen the Warren Hansen family and Mr. Mid Mrs. E. S. Hansen held a party in her honor at her home in Wednesday even- Lon ing. ihe .... Mr. and Mrs. Henry Theissens ancfe family and Mrs. Henrietta Theissens of Salt Lake City and Lynn Jenson of Kemmerer, Wyo., visited with the Golden Adams Sunday. Mrs. Theissens remained to spend the week with her daughter and family. Move to New Home Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Fryer moved from their home in East Garlaod the first part of the week to their new home in Bountiful. Mr. Dale Gardner of Driggs, Ida., came for his family Sunday after they had spent the week at the Tom HarpeF home. Mrs. Dewaine Loveland and baby of Roy are spending the week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred G rover. The family of L. R.
