Wednesday evening preparation meeting for Primary was held in the Relief Society room. A lesson was given and work plans for this month were discussed. Light refreshments were served by Madge Udy and Col. leen Udy. Members of the Junior Birthday club met Friday evening at the home of Inez Johnson honoring the birthdays of Mrs. Johnson and Connie Anderson. A long table was set the length of the room upon which a tasty pot luck supper was served. Most of the club members were present and enjoyed a lovely evening together. Jan Dean and Cleve Hales of Salt Lake City, accompanied by their cousin, Cordell Wood, of Farmington, visited with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hales Saturday. Delbert Wood brought the boys up and visited relatives and friends while they were here. THE ART WARD FAMILY MEETS The family of Mr. and Mrs. Art Ward from Utah and Idaho met at the family home during the weekend in honor of Mrs. Betty Ray Adams of California who is going to Kansas in the near future. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Ross Shirley and sons of Rexburg. Idaho, Mr. and Mrs. Welton Ward and daughters of Pocatello, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Ward and daughters of Salt Lake Mrs. Rayola Walker of City, and son Ogden, Mrs. Adams Donnie, and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Art Ward, spent the day in Logan canyon. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Lundberg and sons of Logan visited Mrs. Lundberg's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hales Sunday. Gary Jensen, of Brigham City visited with his aunt, Mrs. De Los Udy and family several days of the week. Jesse Davis spent the weekend at home with his family. He has been in Provo working for several months. Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Krantz of Midvale, visited Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Leland Bourne. They were on their way home from the Yellowstone park and points in Montana. The ladies are sisters. Mr. and Mrs. John Allen took La Priel Capener, Mary Gale Forsberg, Erlyn Forsberg, Lawrence and El Ray Allen to Logan Saturday where they attended a baptismal session at the Temple. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin J. Ballard of Benson, parents of Mrs. Myron Richards, visited Satur day at the home of Mr and Mrs. Richards. The M. J. Richards family reunion was held at the Reos Pioneer park in Brigham City. A goodly number of the family members from Utah, Idaho and Wyoming were present. Myron Richards and Grant Richards of Boise, Idaho were in Salt Lake City Monday. Snowville Mrs. Chriitine Petersoa Vacation In Idaho Mr. and Mrs. Norman Talbot and family spent the 4th of July at Sun Valley, Idaho after which they enjoyed fishing in the other parts of Idaho. They returned home Thursday. Mrs. Amanda Cutler accompanied her brother and family Gay Neal of Pocatello, Idaho to Burley, Idaho Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Rolf Nelson and son Gary of Ogden visited Saturday and Sunday with their parents Mr. and Mrs. D.G. Nel- Jr. RETURN FROM CALIFORNIA son Mr. and Mrs. Reed Larkin returned home Sunday from California after a short visit. Their son Gam and wife returned home with them. Gam has been stationed for the Dast five months at Fort Ord, California. After a short furlough, Garn will report for over sea's duty. Mrs. Amanda Cutler entertained for members of the Cup and Saucer Club Friday night. Erma Sorenson, Ada Pratt and Christine Peterson were guests. The evening was spent playing games with prizes going to Ruby Hurd and Naomi Garb-anitA delicious luncheon was served. i. JOIN IN REUNION Thursday, July 16. 1953 from Sait Lake City this week end. Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Anderson and Mrs. Ida Anderson visited in Malad Saturday with the Bob Bowen family. Mrs. Mantell Monson and two sons of Ogden and Mrs. Leah Cowelishan also of Ogden are visiting with Mrs. Marian Arbon. Alma Larkin was in Malta, Idaho Tuesday on business. Rosann Cutler spent Monday and Tuesday ui Ogden. Elwood Mable Renter Harold Petersen To Be Released Mr. and Mrs. William Petersen recently received word that their son Harold, who is serving in the Danish mission, will soon be released. He will spend two weeks touring Europe and will sail for home August 13. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Petersen of Ogden visited the William Petersons one day last week. Miss Connie Johnson of Salt Lake City, niece of Mrs. Earl Petersen, is spending two weeks at the Petersen home. Mary and Merle Romer, young daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Romer, spent several days last week in Brigham City with their grandmother, Mrs. Margaret Romer. Miss Linda Romer, another daughter, is spending Mr. and Mrs. DeLome Arban and family were in Holbrook Sunday to attend the Willard Smith family reunion. The family enjoyed a trip to the Duvall Mine after which they went to Halbrook and enjoyed a lovely dinner. Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Jacobs of Toledo, Ohio were special guests. Mrs. Jacobs is a sister of Mrs. Laura Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Allen and family of California visited Monday with relatives here Rosann Cutler returned home Sunday from Montello, Nevada where she has been employed. Mrs. Jay Larson of Montello, Nevada visited Saturday and Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. DeLamar Cutler.
