Show f app Board ol Education. meeting of the Board of I ueation of Box Elder School was held Tuesday. August 20, members present, F W Flah-burPeter M Hansen, D C Hub-bar- d and C W Hall. The report of Pres- Fishburn upon the plans, specifications and contractors bond for the Clear Creek school building was accepted. Teachers wero assigned as follows: Jean-ettOstiund, Bear River City; Lottie G LihnhoiT, Portage; Geo. Ingram, Etna; Etta Crowther, Junction; Louise Kinnally, Brig-naEighth grade; Sarah E. Guernsey, Collinston; Lavina Sor enson, Honeyvillt; Mathilde Or- lob, Fielding. The matter of employing Maud Johnson as teacher of the Ter-nschool wan referred to the President and Clerk with nower A Dia-tri- ct n, e et to act The date of opening of all the schools of every grade within the district was set for September) 2'kd. The clerk and superintendent were authorized to formulate a code of rules for the guidance of the schools and present same to the Board for their consideration at the next meeting. It was ordered that 1000 copies of the Brigharn City High School annual be printed and distributed among parents and students of the County at an early date. Each board member was au- -' thorizadin connection with the! supervisor within his respective district to employ janitors for all school buildings. The following supervisors were selected: Rueben Nebeker, Wil lard: S L Miller, Penrose; John G Watt, Thatcher; O L Winters, Garland; F E King, North Gar-- 1 land; Harper Rudd, Plymouth. The matter of repairs and re-- 1 novation of school houses was re ferred to each Board memb; r with full authority to act in con- junction with the supervisors within their respective cistricts.
