Bevan, foimer Tooele City Mayor, who are both aeeking a place on the No vembef ba'lot for the post of Tooele Ccunty Ccmmis-sione- r. NOTE of interest was injected into the local primary election when Tooele County Commissionets decided to include an opinion ballot to determine if there is sufficient Interest to justify a bond election to finance a new County Courthouse. The ballot which will be entirely unofficial, in effect will be issued to voters for them to Indicate whether they would support a bond e'ection for a new County Courthouse. Voters ate cautioned that under Utah law they cannot vote a split ticket but must vote either Democratic or Republican in the primary election. SPLIT TICKETS are only legal in the general election in November. To indicate their preference for either Mr. Bevan or Mr. comBuzianis for the mission post they must first vote Democratic and then indicate their preference. If they vote Republican they cannot vote lor either Democratic can didate. Both men polled insufficient votes in the Tooele County Democratic Convention to be decisive, so their names are in eluded on the primary election ballot.
