The lesson department was given by Mrs. Dorothy Egelund. Lowell Hicks, talented musician played the music for Sunday School and Sacrament in the Erda meeting Sunday Ward. He demonstrated the new organ and was surprised to find several could play it with two sets of keys. This was a treat for everyone as we have been without an organ for so long, using only a piano. The bulk of the choice steer cubes weighing from 300 to 500 pounds-- , sold from $28 to $32.80, with mixed good and choice selling from 25 to $28 75. Choice yearling steers weighing from 500 to 600 pounds, brought $26.50 to $28.50, with good and choice steers weighing from 500 to 750 pounds, selling from $23.50 to $26.25. Good and choice yearling steers weighing from 750 to 950 pounds, sold from $23.50 to $25.60. There was an excellent buyer attendance and all classes of cattle found an active market and a market which was strong to 50 cents higher on nearly all classes of cattle and calves.
