During their stay at Ibapah, they visited some of the old time Indian settlers, saw the historical Pony Express points of interest and attended a dance given Saturday evening at the Ibapah School House for the visiting Junior Bit and Spur Club members from Tooele. After attending Sunday School Sunday morning, the Smarts returned home by way of Gold Hill and Skull Valley, in order to see more of the county. Spokesmen further noted that in order to apply for special season hunts, a person must have either a big game hunting or a combination license. This means that time is rapidly running out for juveniles wishing to apply for special hunt permits in the early part of the season. Courses in hunter safety and survival are currently being offered by instructors throughout the State. Average course duration is four to six weeks.
