The marching band performs in celebrations ) throughout central Utah, most notable is the "Days of 47" parade in Salt Lake City on the 24th of July. They also take part in the regional marching festival. They give many concert performances throughout the year - the Christmas Concert, February Fantasy, Festival, and Spring Regional Concert, which are considered by many to be of suoerior quality. Wes agrees with the basic that philosophy quality music education comes through quality performance of good music." After graduating from CHS Wes served with the U.S. Navy during World War II. He later aettended and graduated from the Brigham Young University. He married I.aBelle Bolley of Pleasant Grove. They have four children.
