Old Fire Horse Firemen Honor M. S. Lee Marion S. Lee, celebrated his fortieth year in the Tooele Volunteer Fire Department by staging a stag roast beef dinner, for the more than sixty members of the Department, at the Firemen Hall, Wednesday evening. Forty six firemen were present. As a surprise to Mr. Lee, the Firemen in turn presented him with a forty year plaque, the first forty year award ever given by the Tooele Fire Department. Mr. Lee, although not a charter member was the first member inducted on February 4, 1921), after the charter was closed. Mr. Lee has high praise for the Tooele Fireman and his forty years of association with them. He was active until 1948 and has since been closely associated on the retired list, and attends all of the meetings. Mr. Lee has gone up the entire ladder, in the Department as an officer, having been secretary several times, and chief mechanic, several times, and was chief in 1937- - 1938, having been assistant chief two years prior to this date.
