Legal Notices are one of our guarantees that we will first be informed before changes are made in the law. Do we take advantage of it? In a Democracy such as ours, wise men have Included the mandatory publishing of legal notices as a guard against secrecy in government with its danger to our freedom. LEGAL NOTICES ARE A GUARANTEE that you will be warned before a change takes place so that you can object if you want to. There are those that feel it is a waste of public money to publish them and year by year the chance of your over looking an important legal notice is increasing as new regulations limit the number of times they are required to be published or whether they need to be published at all. There are those that would govern In secrecy. In an age of Increasing regulation the average citizen must be well informed in order to survive in addition to knowing about the increasing dangers to his liberty.
