Flaming Gorge Fish AT SO ' LISTON-PATTERSO- -- N iGUT lori PICTURES On Screen At 7:15 i Toosls 195 North Main Growing Rapidly Recent checks conducted on the Flaming Gorge reservoir in Utah and Wyoming indicate that fish in the reservoir are growing at a rapid rate. BIOLOGISTS FROM the Utah and Wyoming Department of Fish and Game together with the Federal Bureau of Sport Fisheries and Wildlife personnel spent a week in October checking fish growth progress in the reservoir. The three and three- - quarters million rainbow trout planted in the lake last May and June, as two- - to three- - inch fingerlings, were found to have had a high rate of survival and have made excellent growth. Fish sampled by the biologists were deep- - bodied and ranged from 8 to 12 inches in over-a- ll length. USED SONAR EQUIPMENT during the survey indicated that fish were found in almost every portion of the lake. On the basis of the survey. Department spokesmen said that prospects look excellent for next years fishing in the reservoir. , , FRIDAY- - SATURDAY October 25th & 26th - I- .
