Mr. and Mrs. Tex Fernau were guests of Mr. and Mrs. P. H. Hutchison and Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Butler at a dinner party at the Town Club in Salt Lake City, Wednesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Charles O. Killian will have as guests for Christmas their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kyle and son Robbie. The Kyles will arrive this week from Fort Riley, Kansas, where Mr. Kyle has just been discharged from the Army, MEMBERS OF THE TOOELE JUNIOR High Glee Club recently enjoyed an evening of ice skating at the Hygeia Skating Rink in Salt Lake City. Miss Lona Harrington, teacher and director of the club, sponsored the outing, which included refreshments at Harmons Cafe aftrewards. Dr. and Mrs. A. Jay DeLaMare will be hosts for their dinner clubs annual Christmas party on Wednesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Dale James and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Ensign have returned from an extended business trip to points east and south. Mr. Ensign left the middle of November for Rockford. Illinois, where he was joined the first part of December by Mrs. Ensign and the Jameses, who flew in from Salt Lake City. From Rockford they went to Flint. Michigan, where each couple picked up a new car. The Jameses then continued homeward through Chicago, Wausau, Minneapolis, Omaha and Denver. while the Ensigns drove through the South West stopping at Indianapolis. Houston, San Antonio, and Albuquerque. Both couples arrived home last Thursday. AMONG THOSE ATTENDING the Christmas party of the Utah Association of Outdoor Advertising will be Mr. and Mrs. Tex Fernau. Mr. Fernau is State President of the Association. The affair, which will be held Monday evening at the Lamp Lighter in Salt Lake City, will be a regional meeting and will include guests from Idaho and Colorado. Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Grimm and children are here for a visit from their home in the Phillipine Islands. Mrs. Noan Shibley, accompanied by Mrs. Vera Tate, attended the annual Christmas party of the Utah Press Womens Club, which was held at the home of Mrs. Olive W. Burt, noted Utah authoress. Twenty-ninguests were present, including members from throughout the state of Utah. Decorations were carried out in a holiday theme and consisted of Christmas treasures from the many countries of the world which Mrs Burt, an extensive traveler, has visited.
