Phipps, has been in operation as a hospital for nearly four years. Until one year ago it occupied the dwelling house of Miss Lydia De La Mare, on Main Street. Miss De La Mare was matron and nurse during that time, and under her efficient management the institution outgrew its accommodations for roc.n and was removed to its present location, where it occupies a building at Corner of Utah A, enue and Broadway. This new building, which was de- 4 b Equipped With Every Modern Appliance Known to Medicine andNnrgerv. Comfortable Rccms, Light and Pure Air The thing iiccearv to health This Hospital is in Charge of a Capable Staff of Physicians and Surgeons signed fer a store and office buildings, has been modified in its construction to su tably adopt it for hospital service and will be used as such as temporary quarter for the Tooele General Hospital till such time as the growth of the city and surrounding community shall require a larger building. The management take great pleasure in an touncing to its patrons that while it is a private instituticn and has ne. er received a dollar as donation from any source, it is apparently on a solid financial basis, and with the continued support and encouragement of its many friends in this community, they hope that it will continue to be means of relief ing the sick and distressed, and that the institution will be a pride tc the community in which it is intended to benefit not many cit'cs the size of Tcoele can toast cf the ad, antages of a even a small hospital service. Ei ery citizen should take a pride in its moral and financial support as long as its service is such as to merit the confidence of a grateful public. DR. D. A.
