a dr V L L tanner TaBi Bier mes dies in salt lake dr vard L tanner age 62 1 I st educator and doctor of ahll VA in psychology died friday 4 at 9 p in in a salt lake hos pital after a lingering illness he was bom born april 9 1886 in A clover tooele thoele county a son of joseph T and isabel tanner he ile attended tooele thoele schools and the college in salt lake city he ile received his masters degree and bachelors degree at the university of utah and his doctor s degree at the university of chicago in 1922 mr tanner taught education and psychology at the university of pennsylvania in arkansas and for a number of years at weber college in ogden later he was an instructor in raymond alberta canada and assistant superintendent of adult education in the granite school district a number of years ago he ile retired about five years ago due to illness he married francis tep september 6 1912 she died march 26 1915 he lie married lillian hall petersen septem ber 25 1929 in the salt lake temple lie mr NIT tanner was active in the church be sides his widow he is survived by a step daughter mrs connie ila hall I 1 I 1 concord california a brother and two sisters mr cleo tanner alaska mrs maud T salt lake city and mrs rowena T hodge spanish folk FOOL
