The driver was Hispanic and did not speak English so an officer translated during this contact. The driver was found to have been consuming alco hol and following administration administra-tion of field sobriety tests, to be impaired. The driver was identified by means of name and date of birth. An intox-ilizer intox-ilizer test was administered and the driver was cited and released for traffic and DUI violations. There were no injuries involved. The officer will complete a 1)19 report for this accident. The driver was arrested for DUI. A report was made of a traffic stop resulting in the driver being arrested for DUI, warrants, and other charges. The passenger in (he vehicle was arrested for an alcohol offense. of-fense. The driver was transported trans-ported to the Pleasant Grove Police Department and was later released on a citation. The driver was also able to post bail on the warrants. No further information. Northwest Pipe Company reported theft of copper wire and tools from their business. An individual reported a theft of an outboard motor. On July 6 an officer met with a complainant regarding a theft of items from his garage. ga-rage. Officers responded to a delayed de-layed burglary on Wednesday, July 7, on East State. Upon arrival officers made contact with the complainant's wife, who explained this occurred about one month ago. Officers responded to a local lo-cal business on reports of a small amount of vandalism. The graffiti was photographed and has been added to this report. re-port. No suspect information is available at this time. No further action was taken. The police contacted the reporting partyvictim regarding regard-ing the theft of a credit card that was sent to him by private pri-vate courier. The card had not been used as of the time this report was made and the reporting party was in the process of canceling it. No suspects or evidence. A report re-port was filed for information purposes only at this time due to a lack of suspect information informa-tion and at the request of the reporting party because he Officers responded to a civil problem on Thursday, July 1. The officers spoke with the complainant reporting a theft. After getting the information from the complainant, this was determined to be a civil matter, not a theft. No further actions were taken. On Thursday, July 1, an officer of-ficer spoke with a complainant complain-ant who was reporting a vehicle burglary. An officer spoke with a female fe-male who stated that her vehicle had been broken into and that a radar detector and CD's were taken. There was no damage done to the vehicle. On July 2 an officer responded respond-ed to a local supermarket on reports of a female shoplifter being detained. It was reported that she was being co-operative. A report was made that $700 cash was stolen from the reporting report-ing party's residence. On July 3 an officer made contact by phone in regards to a theft of fuel detail. An individual reported a vehicle ve-hicle burglary and theft of her purse. An officer was dispatched on a possible delayed burglary. The officer found that while the homeowners were away, their daughter had let an individual into their home who was not supposed to be there. After finding that the daughter had let the male into the residence, no crime had been committed. The homeowners have fear of this individual that he may do something some-thing to their home or grandchildren. grand-children. The officer referred the victims to the victims advocate ad-vocate for a possible protective order. No further actions were taken. A report was made of an aggravated ag-gravated robbery involving the victim, who was robbed by two males with a knife. The suspects sus-pects stole property from the victim, then left the area. The victim did suffer injuries from the assault. There is no suspect or witness information at this time. On July 4 officers responded to a report of a white Mitsubishi Mitsubi-shi Mirage that was stolen from the front of the reporting party's residence. On July 6 an individual reported a theft of a wallet from their vehicle. ve-hicle. The city parks department reported re-ported some criminal mischief in a park bathroom. An officer was dispatched on a report of a traffic accident involving only one vehicle with property damage only. The officer of-ficer found that the driver was under the influence of alcohol and ran off the road into a ditch. |
