Show i M iU '? - AN Mrs. G. W. Godfrey. Debra Roberts Married in Denver Rites Mr. and Mrs. J. Dalo Roberts, former Moab residents, resi-dents, this week announced announc-ed the marriage of their daughter, Debra Ellen to Gary Wayne Godfrey of Walsh, Colorado. Mr. and Mrs. Roberts are presently living in Englewood, Colo. The wedding took place in the Church of the Ascension Asce-nsion in Denver, Colo, on May 22, with Rev. Lawrence Lawr-ence Spencer officiating over the double ring ceremony. cere-mony. The bride was given in marriage by her father and she wore a white gown of organza with applique of lace and clusters of pearls on the bodice and skirt. The neckline was bordered by lace and the sleeves were in the long bishop style trimmed in lace and pearl clusters. The detachable detach-able chapel length tra;n was edged with lace and pearls and cascaded from a bonnet of organza edged witlh lace and pearls and was held in place by satin ribbons tied under the bride's chin. She carried a bouquet of daisies, sweetheart sweet-heart roses and baby breath. Her only jewelry was a pearl and diamond gold fiil'igreed ring, a gift of the groom. Attending as matron of honor was Nanse Gelt of Denver County and bridesmaids brides-maids were Mrs. Kenneth Williamson, Miss Karen Vielnow both of Denver Miss Pamela Godfrey of Walsh, Colo. All attendants wore gowns of yellow chat-tercloth chat-tercloth embossed with white and orange daisies. A white velvet ribbon encircled en-circled the bodice and was gathered at the back with a cluster of daisies. The velvet ribbon was floor length and each streamer ended with a single daisy. The accessories were white horsehair garden hats and white wrist length gloves. Each attendant carried a white ba-sket of yellow and white daisies and assorted spring! flowers. Following a reception at Guild Hall at the Church of the Ascension, the couple cou-ple took a honeymoon to Colorado Springs. They plan to make their home in Denver at 2642 West Douglas Place. |
