Show Mrs Leland Heywood wood Dies at Cedar City Moab friends were grieved to learn that Mrs Marie Evans Heywood 53 wife of Leland D. D assistant supervisor of ol Di e national forest had bad died at her home in Cedar City Thursday night Death resulted from a liver ailment Mrs Heywood Heywood Heywood Hey Hey- wood had been ill about a month The family resided at Moab for several years Mr a Heywood being supervisor r of the La Sal national forest lorest here She was born in Panguitch Pan May 17 1896 a daughter of Mathew William and Annie Clove Evans She attended the public schools in Panguitch and Brigham Young university at Provo prior to serving selVing a mission in the western wes states for the church in 1919 and 1920 I She was married to Mr Heywood Heywood Hey Hey- HeY i wood in the Salt Sal t Lake temple April 13 13 They had lived In Richfield Moab and Panguitch Panguitch Pan Pan- gultch prior to moving to Cedar ledar City about five years ago I Mrs Heywood was a teacher i In the Cedar City schools She i iwas was a charter member of Panguitch Pan Fan chapter Le Legion Legion gion glon Auxiliary and a former member ime of the Moab Women's Literary club Surviving In addition to her husband are a son Frank L. L Heywood Ely Nev i Jour four ur daughters T Mrs rs Florence H. H Willmarth Sierra Madre Calif Mrs Helen Hayward Long peach each CalU Calif H U. Nelson I ISalt Salt Lake City and Jean Marie Heywood Cedar City four brothers John Evans Oakland I Calif J. J W. W Evans Phoenix Ariz W. W tW W Evans Panguitch and James AJames E.
